Since 2014, the Department of Fundamental Neurosciences (DNF) organizes a biennial one-day symposium on different topics of neurosciences. The DNF grew out of the former Department of Cell Biology and Morphology. On this occasion, the annual DNF symposium, which aims at presenting the latest developments from our research programs, was initiated. The symposia combine lectures by international speakers, talks given by members of the DNF and the Lemanic Neuroscience Community. With this, the symposium provides a pleasant milieu for stimulating discussions during talks, poster sessions and in the more informal settings of the social event.
